Helloo! Today on my blog I will talk about a time when I had a specific goal, which was to learn how to drive and get my driver's license. When I was 15 years old, my dad had the idea of teaching me and my brother (Wladi) to drive, at first he was the only one driving and I accompanied them to learn little by little. It was difficult at first because I felt a certain pressure from Erick, my father, because the wladi had learned quickly and in no time I was driving well. For my part, I had no driving skills, so everything I was told was new to me. My brother is a serious person, with a difficult character to carry, but not impossible haha although he is always available for someone who needs someone, is someone trustworthy and affectionate with whom he wants. Hello hello! Today I'll tell you about a family meal. I often meet with my family, meals for birthdays or special dates are always made at my house and everyone gets together, mommy and daddy's family. One meal I remember was for my dad's birthday, where I celebrate his 50th birthday, he's birthday on August 7, but we celebrated it on Saturday 10. Many people came, mom's family, dad's family, friends of his, some of my friends and co-workers, there were about 60 people in my house. There were a lot of things to eat because my mom got ready about a month in advance to celebrate her birthday, there was meat, pizza, canapé, sopaipillas, birthday cake, cupcakes and sandwiches. Hello hello! The best vacation I've ever had was this summer. I always go on vacation to the south, specifically to Panguipulli and its surroundings. The difference with previous years is that this year I went with a friend two weeks before my parents. We used to go out with my grandparents for a walk, to get to know places and to eat a lot. We would get up early, have breakfast and go for a walk until lunchtime, then go for a swim in the lake all afternoon and at night we were beside the campfire playing cards until we got sleepy. I spent about 1 month sharing with my grandparents at the campsite with my brother, my friend returned to Santiago after two weeks, then my parents and cousins arrived, so we were always sharing with people. I think it was the vacation where I ate the most, especially french fries, my dad also made melon with wine and everyone drank. I chose the Biogeography subject because I like to know and differentiate the species of flora and fauna. It consists of the study of living beings in a geographical space, is a specialization of geography that is oriented to the places occupied by living organisms on earth. We have theoretical classes and fields where they are given to show the contents about the ecosystem and everything that this implies. The time we went to the field we went to a wetland in Maipú, where there was a diversity of birds that were distributed in different sectors. We had to identify how many species we observed from each one in order to do a job. We also went to observe and make plots in a ravine to find flora species. The contents we saw were dispersion, range of distribution, demography, habitat of a species, among others. Among them and the one I liked the most is CIREN (Natural Resources Information Center) as it provides information on the country's natural and productive resources, through the use of technologies and geospatial applications. The site is characterized for covering great part of the agricultural territory in Chile, the agrológicos studies allow to identify, to define and to locate the main types of soil that are of interest to raise information linked to the agriculture and the environment, by means of descriptions of representative profiles. Hi, my dears:  My passion is traveling. Yes, discovering new places that, no matter how far or near they were, invited me to detach myself from my world that always moved in the same way, finding every corner impregnated with smells, colours, flavours, people and rhythms that, no matter how strange they were, convinced me how much I liked to travel. In the beginning, the decision to travel involves leaving your comfort zone and the stability we are sometimes afraid to leave. It is the quest to take on new challenges and risks that always implies a new decision, without realizing you grow as a person, you learn from yourself and with you. Although I can't travel as I'd like because of my studies and time, it's something that takes me out of my routine and you can experience new things all the time. Hello hello! This is my favorite picture. With my family we go on vacation every summer to Panguipulli, since I was little we go camping by the lake, so we can enjoy this beautiful landscape every day. It is a very quiet place and far from the center of the commune, so we are away from the noise of the city.  I captured this photo around 7:30 in the morning of this year, I remember that I woke up and no one was awake, I think it was very early, but I was watching waiting for someone to go for breakfast. This photo brings back many memories, since it is where I share more with my grandparents, they were the ones that took me to know this place.   Last summer, I was accompanied by my friend Sol and although she left much earlier, we were able to enjoy this place a lot. The water of the lake was not very cold and we had very hot days, so we bathed and sunbathed most of the time, in addition to smoking weed all day.

Hello! When I go to college, what strikes me most is how rushed and stressed people go to get to their destination, whether it's work, going to school, and so on. Most people run to take locomotion, because probably for some reason or another they come out late I suppose. Many are distracted seeing their cell phones, others are sleeping, there are also people who are studying and others who are just listening to music. When I have to study, all I ask is that I don't meet someone so I don't get distracted.   The journey I make every day takes an hour, so I'm surprised at how constant this routine is and how little people are taken into account, because when a pregnant woman gets on the subway, or the elderly, those sitting around don't lift their heads to see who's around to give them their seats. This is something that happens all the time.   

I don't have many electronic devices, but one of the ones I like the most is the cell phone. It's a 6s iphone, silver and medium. I bought it in March last year and it lasted almost a year in good condition. I use it for practically everything, as an alarm, to call, to take pictures, to know the location of places, to communicate with my friends and family, and so on. I occupy it frequently during the day because I see my social networks, but I only answer if they call me because I am lazy to answer for WhatsApp. I like it because it can have different uses and everything on the mobile phone is stored in an Apple ID account without having to transfer photos and documents to the computer. Although I like the cell phone, my life without it would be better, because it is such a common tool that it is a distraction when it comes to activities.

When I was a girl my dream was to study medicine, but I realized at school that I was not doing well in the fields of biology😢. The other options I had at the time of studying were geology, geophysics and geography. But when I left school I realized that I didn't want to go to college because I wanted a year to better prepare myself for the PSU🤦‍♀️. I finally decided to study geography because I had to study something. I didn't know if I was going to like it or the subjects I was going to have. My experience in the university until now has been good, I like the program by the different things that can be studied and I don't see myself studying anything else😎. My name is Gissele Gutiérrez Vejar, I'm 20 years old, I was born in the city of Santiago, Chile in October 17, 98.  I estudied the elementary in school Geronimo de Alderete, then i studied in Boston College, I currently studying Geography at the University of Chile, i like my program because the interaction between social and physucal geography is interesting. I currently live in the commune of Pudahuel with my parents and my brother, we also have a dog named Billy.  My favorites hobbies is spending time with my friends, sharing with my family, sleep, watch Netflix, engage in sport, go to parks, eating foods and every Sunday I go to lunch with my grandparents and in the afternoons I stay in bed all day.
